I’m Georgia – a food and product photographer, food stylist, and Mediterranean recipe developer based in the Netherlands, working with clients around the world.
My story begins in Greece, where I was raised with the Mediterranean way of life deeply woven into my everyday experiences. I grew up around rustic tables, where food wasn’t just food – it was a celebration, a connection, a memory in the making. That upbringing shaped not only my taste but my eye for beauty: the rich textures of handmade dishes, the simplicity of fresh ingredients, and the stories told through shared meals.
My heritage inspires every frame I create. Through photography and styling, I capture the warmth, honesty, and storytelling spirit of Mediterranean culture. To me, a good image doesn’t just show a dish – it evokes a feeling, a place, a memory. It speaks of home, even when you're far away.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I launched Foodathlon – my gluten-free Mediterranean food blog. It was born out of the need for a creative outlet and a desire to share the nourishing, healing qualities of this lifestyle with a global audience. Behind the lens of my camera, I found a new love: not just for food, but for telling its story through visuals. This was the beginning of a new chapter.
Before fully stepping into this creative world, I worked as a nurse – a role that gave me a deep appreciation for food, not only as sustenance but also as a tool for healing.
